God Introduces Himself to Pharaoh:

- The Israelites cannot keep up…
- - - Foremen: Israelite slaves who are leaders of other slaves
- - Their foremen are beaten
- - Sadly, this turns Israel against Moses/Aaron

God Introduces Himself to Pharaoh:
- Moses talks to God about it
- - It seems Moses expected Pharaoh to easily let the Israelites go, he really wondered why God wasn't working!
- - God promises to free Israel & they “will know that I am the Lord your God” (6:7)
- Then God, through Aaron (he does the talking), &  through Moses again confronted Pharaoh…
- - He tells how Egypt will see God’s mighty acts of judgment & “will know that I am the Lord.” (7:5)
- - Aaron’s staff becomes a snake to demonstrate how this actually is a message from God—but then…
- - - Pharaoh’s magicians do this w/their staffs!—but then…
- - - Aaron’s snake eats theirs :-D
- - Pharaoh refuses to listen & so…
- - - God introduces Himself to Pharaoh—
- - - Through the 10 plagues! D-:
