- - - He was the first human to be resurrected to the new, perfect body (more will come!)
- Anthropology:
- - It is good for us to rest from work so that we can remember, celebrate, & teach about God’s saving & providing work.
- - Our land is important & should be cared for.
- - We should work against oppression and greed while helping people get new starts in life

Leviticus 26-27 – Blessings, Curses, & Vows: Study Packet, Page 3
- Theology:
- - God holds us accountable for our actions
- - He will disciplines us for disobedience
- - He will bless us for obedience
- - “I will place My residence among you, and I will not reject you. I will walk among you and be your God, and you will be My people.” – Leviticus 26:11–12 HCSB
- Anthropology:
- - We should live holy lives of dedicated service to God
- - When bad things happen to us: We should realize that…
- - - God could be using them as discipline
- - - Every bad thing is not God’s discipline (Luke 13:1–5 & Acts 28:3-6)
- - - It can always help us become a stronger Christian (James 1:2-4 & Romans 5:3-5)
- - It is important for us to keep our promises
