- - This book summarizes Israel’s ~40 yrs in the desert
- - It does this in a way to teach us how to live holy lives dedicated to God
- Chapters 1-10 focus on…
- - Organizing for War: Moses takes a census of the fighting men
- - Organizing for Worship: Moses assigns different clans of Levi distinct jobs for the Tabernacle & its items.
- - Purity Laws: Given for physical, spiritual, & marital purity.
- - Nazirite Vow: Rules are given on how to dedicate yourself to God
