Theology:
- God has great love for His people
- There is only one God
- God is faithful to keep all of His promises
- When we need it, God will fight for us
- Justice & compassionate mercy are both very important to God
- Jesus is the ultimate fulfillment of Moses' prophesy of one coming like him
- - An evil king tried to kill them at birth
- - They both ‘came from Egypt’
- - They both led slaves to freedom
- - They both performed amazing miracles
- - They both suffered at hands of those they loved
- - Do you notice any others?

Anthropology:
- We are both made & commanded to love God with our all
- It is our responsibility to teach God's truth to our children
- God's truth needs to be applied to every part of our life
- When we are too close to people not follow God, they lead us away from God
- We must humbly remember our total reliance on God
- We should care for the needy
