A Prophet like Moses:
- See your handout p33, the middle section (Part 2 )
- Read Deuteronomy 18:15-22) Who else in the Bible was like Moses?
- Read Acts 3:19-26 (Peter speaking) & Acts 7:37 (Stephen speaking)
- Of whom do these men refer that fulfills this prophesy?
- - The greatest fulfillment of Moses prophesy is found in Jesus!
- - Think of all their similarities…
- - - An evil king tried to kill them
- - - Came from Egypt
- - - Led slaves to freedom (Jesus did it spiritually)
- - - Performed miracles
- - - Suffered at hands of those they loved; etc...

- Read Deuteronomy 9:4-6
- Q1) Why was Israel allowed to drive out the Canaanites?
- - The nations were wicked & being judged by God!
- - This is much like what God did with the flood in Noah's time, or Sodom & Gomorrah in Abraham's time; He has some entire cities wiped out, man, woman, & child! But instead of a flood, or 'fire & brimstone' doing it, He is using military battles.
- - Is it fair for God to judge?
- - - Absolutely!
- - - He is the one who best & completely knows what happened.
- - - Thus He can most judge us rightly.
- Q2) What did God not want them to think?
- - He didn't want Israel to think were 'righteous enough' or ‘good enough’ to get the land
- - They didn’t deserve it!
